KS Unia Janikowo (full name: Klub Sportowy Unia Janikowo, sometimes referred to as MKS Unia Janikowo or MLKS Unia Janikowo) is a Polish football club based in the small town of Janikowo in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship (north-central Poland).
The club has a long but turbulent history marked by multiple dissolutions and refoundings.
In 2012, the original club disbanded due to financial or organizational issues.
It was refounded in January 2013 as KS Unia Janikowo and continued operating at amateur/regional levels (often in classes like Klasa A or B, or lower leagues in the Bydgoszcz group).
The club faced further instability and dissolved again in March 2023. In 2024, a phoenix club (MKS Janikowo) was established to continue local football activities.
In July 2025, it was renamed MKS Unia (or MKS Unia Janikowo), adopting the historic crest and colors to revive the Unia legacy.
As of the 2025/26 season, the first team competes in the lowest regional tiers (e.g., Klasa B Bydgoszcz group IV). The club also runs youth teams (from Skrzat/Żak up to juniors) and organizes local tournaments like the MKS Unia Janikowo Cup.
