🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Hillingdon Borough (England)

Hillingdon Borough F.C. (nicknamed The Hillmen or Boro) was a semi-professional English football club based in Ruislip, in the London Borough of Hillingdon, West London.

The club played in blue home colours and had strong local community roots in the Middlesex area.

The club's origins date back to 1872, originally founded as Yiewsley F.C. (later associated with Yiewsley and West Drayton). In 1964, following local government changes that created the London Borough of Hillingdon, the club renamed itself Hillingdon Borough to reflect its status as the borough's main semi-professional team.

On 8 April 2026, the club announced it would resign from the league and cease competitive operations at the end of the 2025–26 season. This marked the end of over 35 years since the 1990 reformation (and a much longer overall history).

The decision, made by Chairlady Davinder Dhand, was described as difficult and not taken lightly, citing the challenges of sustaining non-league football amid dedication, sacrifice, and financial pressures common at this level.

As of yet there are no plans for a Phoenix Club to be created so the name Hillingdon Borough will remain idle for now.
