Based in Armadale, West Lothian. They joined the newly reformed SFL Division Two in 1921 and played until 1932–33, when they resigned/failed re-election amid the Great Depression's impact on attendances and finances.
They played at Volunteer Park (still used today). The club folded as a senior side around 1933, with no major trophies but some competitive seasons in the lower leagues.
A junior successor, Armadale Thistle (formed 1936), took over Volunteer Park and continues in the East of Scotland League.
