🇹🇩 Yal Club (Chad)

Yal Club (Chad)

Yal Club (also known as Yal Club de N’Djaména) was a Chadian football club based in N’Djaména that is now a Forgotten Football Club.

It was one of the early successful sides in Chadian domestic football. The club won the national championship (or the equivalent top competition at the time) in consecutive seasons: 1971/72 and 1972/73.

Yal Club operated during a turbulent period in Chad’s history, marked by political instability and civil conflict that frequently disrupted organized football. Like many clubs of that era, it struggled with limited resources and the broader economic and security challenges facing the country. By the late 1970s the club had ceased operations and disappeared from the competitive scene.
