Team Bangladesh (Palau)
Founded in 2004 to compete in the inaugural Palau Soccer League, it was the oldest club associated with the competition and the only side from the early years that remained active across multiple seasons into the 2010s. The league itself was the country’s only senior competition and was played at the PCC Track and Field Stadium (National Stadium) in Koror. All matches were held there due to limited facilities.
Team Bangladesh won the Palau Soccer League a record three times in 2005, 2006–07 and 2012 (Spring edition)
This made it the most successful team in the competition’s history (ahead of sides such as Daewoo Ngatpang and Kramers, each with two titles). It also regularly finished near the top of the table in other seasons.
The Palau Soccer League has not been held since approximately 2019 (interrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic and ongoing pitch issues). As a result, all former participants, including Team Bangladesh, are technically Forgotten Football Clubs.
Palau has always been highly informal, with teams often assembled seasonally rather than operating as permanent professional or semi-professional organisations.
