Cruz Azul (Samoa)
The club first appeared in records around 2006, when it reached the Champion of Champions final but lost to Vaivase-Tai. The following year it claimed its only national title, defeating Strickland Brothers Lepea 1–0 in the 2007 Champion of Champions final. It finished as runners-up again in the 2009–10 season (five points behind champions Moaula United).
After the 2009–10 campaign there are no further records of the club participating in the Premier Division or lower tiers of the Samoa National League. It is therefore regarded as defunct. Like several other short-lived or sponsorship-dependent sides of the era (such as Titavi, which won the 2000 title, or Sinamoga, 2008 champions),
Cruz Azul disappeared amid the financial and organisational challenges that have periodically affected Samoan club football.
The club played its home matches at the Toleafoa J.S. Blatter Soccer Stadium in Tuanaimato, the main venue for the national league.
