FK Mogren (Fudbalski klub Mogren) (Montenegro)
Founded in 1920 (originally as FK Budva, they were renamed FK Mogren in 1990. The club had roots in the pre-WWII Montenegrin championships and Yugoslav lower divisions. It gained prominence after Montenegro's independence in 2006, becoming one of the stronger sides in the new national league system. "Majstori s mora" (Masters from the Sea) reflected its seaside location.
The club won the Montenegrin First League champions, twice (2008–09 and 2010–11) and in 2010–11, they edged out rivals like Budućnost Podgorica on goal difference.
They won the Montenegrin Cu once (2007–08) and finished runners-up once.
The club competed in the Yugoslav First League in the 1990s and early 2000s (one of the few Montenegrin coastal clubs to do so) and won Yugoslav Second League titles.
They qualified for UEFA Champions League and Europa League/UEFA Cup qualifiers with notable ties including wins over Hibernians (Malta) and UE Santa Coloma (Andorra), but they faced tough opponents like Copenhagen and Maccabi Tel Aviv.
Financial debts and bankruptcy led to poor performances, relegation playoffs, and eventual drop to the Montenegrin Third League by 2015.
The club was expelled from competitions in 2017 and effectively ceased to exist. Attempts to revive it as "Mogren 1920" failed, though a new entity called FK Budva emerged with youth teams.
