FK Balkan Skopje (Fudbalski Klub Balkan)
Founded on 3 February 1921, the clubs nickname was Selтик од Чаир (Celtic from Čair), referencing their neighborhood and green-white colors reminiscent of Celtic FC.
The club had deep roots in Yugoslav-era football and competed in the early independent Macedonian leagues after 1991. It shared a strong local rivalry with Sloga Jugomagnat, with both teams using the same ground at times.
The played in the Macedonian First League, competiting in seven seasons, with strong showings including two third-place finishes (1992–93 and 1993–94).
They won the Macedonian Republic League (pre-independence) in 1989–90.
They were a solid mid-to-upper-table side in the early years of the Macedonian top flight but struggled with consistency and finances later on.
Like many clubs in the region during the transition to independence and market-driven football, FK Balkan faced chronic funding shortages.
By the early 2010s, debts forced dissolution and the end of the club.
