Taipei City Bank F.C (Taiwan)

Taipei City Bank F.C. (ε°εŒ—ιŠ€θ‘ŒθΆ³ηƒιšŠ) was a notable Taiwanese (Chinese Taipei) football club that competed in the top domestic league before being dissolved around 1999–2000.

It was a company-backed side affiliated with Taipei City Bank and played in the Chinese Taipei National Football League (later known as the Enterprise Football League). The club was one of the stronger teams of its era, winning the National First Division Football League title three times (1986, 1989, and 1991) and finishing as runners-up on five other occasions (1983, 1985, 1990, 1994, and 1998).

Like many Taiwanese clubs of the period, it relied on corporate sponsorship rather than operating as an independent professional outfit. Taiwan has never developed a fully professional football structure on the scale of neighboring countries; the domestic scene long depended on enterprise teams such as Taiwan Power Company F.C. (Taipower) and Tatung F.C., which provided employment stability for players. When Taipei City Bank underwent privatization and management changes (including the arrival of a new general manager), the football team was dissolved.
