🇽🇰 KF Hysi (Klubi Futbollistik Hysi) (Kosovo)

KF Hysi (Klubi Futbollistik Hysi)

KF Hysi (Klubi Futbollistik Hysi) was a defunct football club from Kosovo. They were founded in 2002 in Podujevë (Podujevo), District of Pristina.

The club was privately owned by the Hysi Group (a major Kosovan company under Isen Sadiku) and stood out as one of the few non-state-supported teams in the top flight. It was coached at times by figures like Adil Vokrri (brother of Kosovo legend Fadil Vokrri), Hysni Maxhuni, and Luan Prekazi.

They won the Football Superleague of Kosovo in the 2010–11 season and the
Kosovar Cup 2008–09, (beat reigning champions FC Prishtina in the final).

Promoted to the top division after winning promotion in the 2005–06 season from Liga e Parë.

Hysi enjoyed a relatively rapid rise in the post-war Kosovan football scene, competing in the Raiffeisen Superliga and achieving domestic success in a short period.

Kosovo's football history is shaped by the region's complex political past, including parallel leagues during the 1990s conflicts and later integration into UEFA/FIFA after 2016. Many clubs have faced financial instability, leading to dissolutions. Hysi was declared bankrupt and officially ceased operations, though there were occasional unfulfilled rumors of reactivation.
